Best Ever Banana Bread
This recipe has been a long time coming. I have been hoarding rotten bananas for months now (when I say rotten, I mean over-ripe) and whenever they would become too rotten, I would stick them in the freezer until I had enough to make banana bread. Note: bananas in the freezer turn black and their unappetizing sight is what prompted me to finally make this recipe. I searched the internet for the perfect one and think this one turned out incredibly. A lot of the recipes I looked at called for mayo in them, which didn’t make a ton of sense to me. Anyhow, this one is simple, easy and difficult to screw up. I realized after I put all the ingredients together that I didn’t have a loaf pan, so I used a 9”x9” pan and it turned out really well. It rose nicely and it was a lot easier to cut into perfectly-sized squares than it would have been to cut perfectly-sized slices of a loaf. The original recipe didn’t call for chocolate chips but I thought it would add a nice flavor if I added them!
